Go to the Yandex.Mail for Domain service page and connect your domain. Now, you will be taken to the Yandex.Connect service. For mail to work on a domain, you will need to confirm ownership of the domain, place an MX and SPF record in the domain settings.

Verification of rights is carried out by specifying special records in the domain settings. You can get these records after adding the domain in the Yandex.Connect interface, select the "DNS record" method for confirming the domain and follow the steps that are required to confirm the domain using this method.

Note:

If you have already confirmed the rights to a domain in Yandex.Webmaster, then you do not need to confirm them additionally in Yandex.Connect - this will happen automatically.

Important:

The record for each domain is unique, in the screenshot above you can see an example of such a record.

Now, you need to place this entry in your domain settings. You can manage domain settings in the control panel of your site in the "Domains" section. Click on the gear opposite your domain. After that, in the "Edit records" tab, add the required domain ownership confirmation. You can read more about this. You will also be required to post the following entries:

You can also register a DKIM signature for your domain. This procedure is optional, but emails signed by DKIM are less likely to end up in spam. You can get the record on the mail administration page, go to the "DKIM-signatures" tab.

Wait for the changes to DNS to take effect. This process can take up to 72 hours.

If we were talking about a standard website with full hosting, then I would recommend the first method. Namely, a file with the code specified by Yandex is created in Notepad and saved with the .html extension.

The next step is to upload the file to the server (hosting) at the root of the site. This can be done using an FTP client or file manager, which is available on most reputable hosting. Thus, the rights to manage the resource are confirmed.

For a site made on the WIX platform, the authorization method using CNAME will be used, since wix.com does not provide access to site files via FTP or file-manager.

So, go to the settings:

You need to add a new CNAME record that Yandex suggested:

As shown in the screenshot, the second step is to add an MX record. To do this, open the Mail tab in the WIX panel.

float: center; "src \u003d" http: //www..png "alt \u003d" "width \u003d" 100% "\u003e

We enter mail.yandex.ru and set priority 10

After adding the data, we check if Yandex has confirmed the rights to link to the domain. If confirmed, the following page will appear:

Here we create a mailbox.

To open mail, you need to follow the link shown in the picture:

This is a rather inconvenient url. It is much more convenient to go to mail.yourdomain.ru. To do this, go back to the CNAME section and create a new mail.yourdomain.ru record

After a while, you can go to your mailbox
