How quickly everything changed! Until recently, the abbreviation "OPG" terrified entire cities. Remember? Orekhovskaya, Solntsevskaya, Tambovskaya ... Racket, extortion, bloody showdown, then it was enough to turn on the TV in the morning to look at the victims of the killers and the consequences of the criminal showdown.

Today it is already difficult to imagine such pictures, all this remained in the 90s. But crime hasn't disappeared. It's just that everything moved from the streets to the offices of officials. And modern bandits prefer computers to firearms.

The history textbooks will later write that the history of an organized criminal group of the 21st century began with the arrest of the Shaltai-Boltai group! For several years they terrorized the country's leaders and top managers of large companies, extorting millions of dollars from them. And no one understood what to do with them, because the victim of the new bandits could be anyone with a smartphone. I am sure that soon someone will be shooting a movie about Humpty. In the meantime, I have put together a short story, if you suddenly do not understand what it is about ...

Where did it all start?

In December, Sergei Mikhailov (deputy head of the FSB Information Security Center), Dmitry Dokuchaev (a former hacker, and then an employee of the FSB Information Security Center) and Ruslan Stoyanov (head of the computer incidents investigation department at Kaspersky Lab) were detained in the case of treason.

SO WHAT?

It turned out that Mikhailov was in charge of the activities of the Shaltai-Boltai hacker group, and Dokuchaev was the direct executor of hacks and leaks! What Stoyanov is suspected of is not yet very clear, but he is a secondary person in this story.

WHAT IS THE "SHUTTEY-DUMP"?

You've probably heard about Humpty Dumpty, even if you don't remember it. This is a hacker group that is actually called Anonymous International. And "Humpty Dumpty" is such a "press service" on behalf of which all plums were published. Therefore, everyone puts an equal sign between these two names.

"Humpty Dumpty" was engaged in hacking into the mobile devices of officials and businessmen, and then leaking the archives of their correspondence into the network. At first he did it for free, but then the members of the group decided not to miss the opportunity to earn money. They contacted the owner of the correspondence and offered him to buy it back. If he refused, then the correspondence was put up on the information exchange, where anyone could buy it for bitcoins. Only on the stock exchange "Humpty Dumpty" earned more than two million dollars.

Here are briefly their loudest plums:

December 2013 Draining the text of Vladimir Putin's New Year address. On New Year's Eve, Putin repeated it word for word.

March 2014 Draining the recommendations of the Presidential Administration on how to properly cover the topic of Crimea on federal channels.

August 2014 Hacking of Dmitry Medvedev's mail and twitter. Humpty Dumpty did it for fun: "they just decided to troll." Then the famous entries “I resign. I am ashamed of the government's actions. Sorry "and" I have long wanted to say. Vova! You're wrong!".

December 2014 Publication of a photograph of Christina Potupchik (former press secretary of the Nashi movement) with a bag full of money. In addition to this, her correspondence was published. It was clear from the correspondence that Potupchik wrote reports to officials about which media outlets too often criticized the authorities.

December 2014 Draining the correspondence of Timur Prokopenko (Deputy Head of the President's Office for Internal Policy). From the correspondence, it became clear that Prokopenko was responsible for posting custom articles against Alexei Navalny. Anastasia Kashevarova (assistant to the general director of the News Media publishing house Aram Gabrelyanov) helped him in this.

April 2015 Hacking email of Alexander Zharov (head of Roskomnadzor). In particular, Zharov corresponded with Mikhail Demin (the former general director of Echo of Moscow). Zharov coordinated the materials and discussed the work of the radio station.

July 2015 The publication of screenshots of letters from Ksenia Bolshakova (former assistant to the head of the Construction Department of the Ministry of Defense), in which she discussed the publication of jeans in Kommersant, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Vedomosti and other newspapers.

September 2015 Publication of official documents and correspondence of officials of the self-proclaimed DPR. They contain information about corruption schemes, torture, abductions, murders and raider seizures.

April 2016 Drain of Dmitry Kiselev's correspondence. From it it became known that Kiselev bought himself an apartment for 162 million rubles and a boat for 49 thousand dollars. Letters were also found in which Kiselev agreed on how to cover various events in television programs.

August 2016 Hacking of mail and correspondence of Aram Gabrelyanov. Many details from his personal and work life have become known. Gabrelyanov was offered to buy out his correspondence, but he refused. As a result, it was published in parts, to the delight of numerous haters of the media manager. In general, the situation did not hit Aram Ashotych's image hard, since it could not be worse.

October 2016 Hacking the mail of presidential aide Vladislav Surkov. It contained the "Shatun" plan of priority measures to destabilize the situation in Ukraine and a list of candidates for the government of the self-proclaimed DPR. (This leak was published on the website of the Ukrainian hacker group CyberHunta, but many still attribute it to Shaltay)

AND MANY HACKERS HAVE THE "SHUTTEY-BOLTAY"?

It is known that there were a little more than ten people in Shaltai Boltai. The founder of Humpty Dumpty, nicknamed Lewis, stated this in an anonymous interview with Meduza. Rosbalt has published information on six of them.

Lewis (Vladimir Anikeev) is a former journalist and black PR specialist. For a long time he was engaged in extracting dirt on businessmen and officials by order. After the creation of Humpty Dumpty, he acquired professional equipment and began hacking smartphones and tablets of officials from the Presidential Administration. He sent the obtained information to other members of the group.

Chatter - a major St. Petersburg PR specialist. He communicated with hacked officials, businessmen and security officials and offered them to buy out the correspondence before they were leaked to the network. Thus, he decided what would be published and what would not. It was he who received money for posting or not posting other people's correspondence.

Humpty - an IT specialist from St. Petersburg who moved to live in Estonia. He analyzed the content sent by Lewis and chose what to get money for. At the direction of Boltai and Lewis, he posted leaked correspondence and documents on the Internet.

The Hatter and the March Hare - ordinary participants of "Humpty Dumpty", in the life of IT specialists. We performed technical work, kept the accounting department of the resource, processed the content. Both moved to live in Thailand.

Alice - a girl from Ukraine, Lewis's friend. She carried out various assignments and was engaged in field work, visiting the same cafes where the employees of the Presidential Administration gathered.

And judging by information from anonymous sources, all these guys were supervised by an FSB officer, namely the deputy head of the FSB Information Security Center, Sergei Mikhailov.

WELL WELL, AND SOMEONE ELSE HAS BEEN DETAINED?

Lewis (Vladimir Anikeev) was detained in November 2016 - a month before Mikhailov's arrest. According to Rosbalt, he actively cooperated with the investigation and repeatedly mentioned Mikhailov in his testimony. It is also known that Alexander Filinov and Konstantin Teplyakov were detained simultaneously with Lewis in the same case. It is not yet clear who they were in Shaltai Boltai. Several more members of "Humpty Dumpty" were put on the wanted list by the FSB.

IT'S ALL?

Nearly. A few days ago it became known that Mikhailov and Dokuchaev not only participated in the work of the hacker group, but also collaborated with the CIA! Interfax, referring to its source, said that "the themes of hacker attacks and betrayal seem to overlap each other in the case, but do not overlap."

TOTAL:

FSB officers Sergei Mikhailov and Dmitry Dokuchaev and an employee of Kaspersky Lab Ruslan Stoyanov were charged under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "High Treason".

Shaltay-Boltay participants Vladimir Anikeev, Alexander Filinov and Konstantin Teplyakov were charged under Part 3 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Illegal access to computer information protected by law."

The FSB has put on the wanted list several members of the Shaltai-Boltai hacker group, also known as Anonymous International. The name of the project comes from the character of many classic English children's poems (English Humpty Dumpty), which is a large humanoid egg with a tie. Also his image was used Lewis Carroll in "Alice Through the Looking Glass".

According to the Investigation Department of the FSB of the Russian Federation, persons living in one of the Baltic countries and in Thailand are on the wanted list. All of them are suspected of committing a crime under Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal Access to Computer Information). According to the investigation, these persons were involved in the processing of the stolen correspondence of civil servants, and then posted it in the public domain on the Internet.

Earlier, FSB officers detained the creator of the Shaltai-Boltaya website Vladimir Anikeev, better known by his pseudonym Lewis... After his arrest in October 2016, Anikeev began to cooperate with the investigation and gives detailed testimony, media reported.

What is known about the creator and activities of the Humpty Dumpty project?

Vladimir Anikeev was born in Makhachkala. In the 1990s, after moving to St. Petersburg, he worked in various media. Since 2001, after meeting a number of St. Petersburg PR specialists, he began to extract compromising evidence on businessmen and officials. And then, depending on the situation, either this compromising material was transferred to the interested client, or they demanded money from officials and businessmen for its non-dissemination in the media.

In 2002-2003, with the help of hackers, he started hacking the mail of representatives of government agencies and entrepreneurs, posted "compromising" articles in the media, organized stories on TV, etc. Later he reached a new level - he acquired professional equipment with which he could create fake WI-FI networks and fake cells of mobile operators.

When there was a lot of information, it was decided to launch the "Humpty Dumpty" project, whose participants took pseudonyms from the work "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll.

The group first showed itself on December 31, 2013, when it published the text of the New Year's address. russian President Vladimir Putin, and not the original version (recorded in advance at the walls of the Kremlin), but read by him from the Far East, where he arrived to help the local population affected by the natural disaster.

In May 2014, the group posted a series of letters from various officials lobbying for the interests of the Concord food factory, which is co-owned by Evgeny Prigozhin, who, according to the project activists, is engaged in "surveillance and organization of provocations against oppositionists and the media."

In mid-July 2014, e-mails from a gmail box allegedly belonging to deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich... Attached to these letters were files with information about the restructuring of Mechel and the "tax maneuver" in the oil industry.

On August 4, 2014, hackers hacked into Twitter account prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

At the end of October, the group published a correspondence, one of the parties of which is allegedly head of the Secretariat of First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov Yuri Gazaryan... The materials describe the situation in the Russian banking system, including in individual credit institutions.

In 2015, the group put up correspondence for sale press Secretary of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev Natalia Timakova.

In 2016, hackers announced the hacking and theft of the contents of two mailboxes and WhatsApp correspondence of the TV presenter Dmitry Kiselyov.

In the summer of 2016, searches were carried out in structures associated with Shaltai-Boltai. As a result of inspections in October 2016, it was decided to lure Anikeev to St. Petersburg under the pretext of receiving a large sum for one job. However, instead of a suitcase with money, FSB operatives were waiting for him in the northern capital.

  • On December 11, 2013, at about midnight, a record appeared on the RuNet of an unknown blogger "Shaltay-Boltay" at that time - congratulations on the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of Russia. This innocuous entry served as the prologue to a series of break-ins and hacker attacks attributed to the group also known as Anonymous International. 20 days later, on the night of December 30 to 31, "Humpty Dumpty" posted the text of the President's New Year's address, "The Guarantor of Freedoms, the Keeper of Equilibrium and the Steadfast of the Foundations." Putin repeated the congratulations word for word. This was the first hacker-sponsored leak.

Lewis Carroll and parsing at Shokoladnitsa

One of the alleged organizers of the group, Vladimir Anikeev, was born in Makhachkala, then moved to St. Petersburg, where he worked in the media. The source of the Rosbalt publication told about Anikeev: “Volodya did not know how to write articles at all. And almost never wrote them. But he was a born scout. He knew how to get the information necessary for articles. For this he could drink with someone, have affairs with secretaries, bribe, etc. Gradually, he began to have a circle of sources and connections in various departments. " In 2001, after meeting the St. Petersburg PR specialists, Anikeev did what he did better: he began to extract compromising evidence on businessmen and officials, and then, depending on the situation, the compromising evidence was passed on to the client, or officials and businessmen were asked for money for not disseminating information in the media ...

Soon after that, Anikeev acquired professional equipment, with the help of which it was possible to create fake WI-FI networks and do network parsing - simply put, extract information from gadgets and websites. When the equipment was turned on, the phone and tablet of the right person were connected to the network through a channel controlled by Anikeev. This is how the hacker gained access to the content that was stored on the gadgets. According to Rosbalt's interlocutors, Anikeev spent hours sitting in the favorite places of officials from the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation: in the Kask restaurant and the Shokoladnitsa cafe in the Ilyinka district, in the Bosco-cafe in GUM.

Anikeev sent all the data to his colleagues: Chatting, Shaltay, Alice, the Hatter and the March Hare - all members of Anonymous International worked under the pseudonyms of Lewis Carroll's fairy tale. Anikeev himself called himself "Lewis".

At first, they tried to sell compromising information through personal connections, but it was dangerous, so it was decided to create their own website on the Wordpress blog platform, which, soon after the publication of the correspondence of Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, was closed by Roskomnadzor.

    Bitcoins and Medvedev's trolling

At first, Anonymous International posted information in the public domain for free, and then began to sell it on the joker.buzz information exchange for bitcoins. For example, the data set of the general director of the publishing house News Media Aram Gabrelyanov, which included personal and work correspondence, was purchased for 11 bitcoins - about $ 8,000 at the then exchange rate. The decision to switch to joker.buzz was made because "time and resources cost more than the exchange's commission."

A bag of money and customized publications. Examples of what Anonymous International told about

    Christina Potupchik's money

Christina Potupchik is a former press secretary of the Nashi movement. Her photo was published by Humpty Dumpty in December 2014.

“How much is in the bag is not known exactly, but she received both five and ten lamas. It's just that this time we decided to make a photo for reporting. Loot was given for the current needs of Potupchik. She also constantly works for the Presidential Administration [presidential administration]. Working in the blogosphere, paying for bloggers, commentators, organizing campaigns, ”explained The Insider in Anonymous International.

In addition to the photo with the money, Anonymous International published Potupchik's correspondence. The Insider wrote about this: “One of the key tasks of Potupchik, judging by the correspondence, is monitoring the information environment and identifying criticism of the authorities. Based on the results of her observations, Potupchik wrote reports, reporting in which media outlets criticize the authorities most often. On February 25, Potupchik writes a report entitled "The Role of Rambler-Afisha-SUP Holding in Provoking Oppositional Sentiments in Russian Society." The report begins with the following introduction (author's spelling): “The publications that are part of the Rambler-Afisha-SUP holding are systematically engaged in propaganda of opposition views, projects, leaders, and some quite successfully create a trend to ridicule state policy. Among the publications of the holding, one should especially highlight the Lenta.ru magazine and its activities in social networks, Afisha, Gazeta.ru, as well as the news aggregator at Rambler.ru ”. A month later, it became known about Galina Timchenko's departure from the post of editor-in-chief of Lenta. And on May 28, Potupchik wrote a note “Review of the critical information policy towards the authorities of the Afisha edition”. A month later, the editor-in-chief was replaced at Afisha.

The FSB Collegium met for a routine meeting. It was a dark December day, smoothly turning into twilight. Sergei Mikhailov, the head of the second operational department of the Central Information Security Department (Center for Information Security) of the FSB, walked to his place at a long table. The officer was, as always, collected, concentrated, in his hands - a folder for papers of hard leather. What happened next happened so quickly that even eyewitnesses did not realize what was happening. Some people appeared, by their handles and appearance - their own, security officials, and in a moment Mikhailov was already taken out of the conference room with a bag on his head. This is how the Tsargrad TV channel described the arrest of a high-ranking law enforcement officer (it is difficult to vouch for the details). Then, in December, the public did not learn anything. But now Mikhailov and his deputy Dmitry Dokuchaev are accused of cooperation with foreign intelligence services.

Each of the defendants went about their business - someone developed and applied cyberattack schemes, and someone collaborated with foreign special services. These directions, as a rule, did not intersect, - quotes "Interfax" an anonymous security official.

So what really happened?

EFFECTIVE OUTPUT

The arrest of Mikhailov and Dokuchaev is not connected with the case of the famous hacker group Anonymous International, said Mikhailov's lawyer Ivan Pavlov. Nevertheless, both the press and in private conversations of people who know something about this case, a different opinion can be traced. Although, of course, not all the details are clear yet - the scandal is also unique.

And it all began on a night when dreams come true. On December 31, 2013, the country was preparing for the holiday. The President’s address is about to come. The chimes will strike. A cork of champagne will hit the ceiling.

But the thoughts of the people who called themselves "Anonymous International" were far from champagne. This day should be the birthday of their organization. And they had to declare themselves effectively and loudly.

Anonymous International account in one of the social networks.

Happened. The hackers leaked the president's congratulations to the country even before it was shown even in the Far East. And in a rough version, which did not reach the screens. In the Kremlin, the incident was explained by a technical flaw. As they say, no one was hurt, there was nothing “like that” in the speech. But for whom it was necessary it was a bell. Because hackers managed to break into super-protected channels. How they did it, no one understood.

AMERICANO WITHOUT SUGAR, PLEASE

A hotel in the center of Moscow is clearly preparing to receive challenging guests. A trained eye catches the plainclothes law enforcers mingled with the crowd.

The surveillance officer's prickly eyes focused on the customers of the hotel's summer café. It seems nothing special. One of them opened his laptop and asked the waitress if she had a charger.

No? Well, nothing, I have 80% of the charge, that's enough, - the man smiled and licked his dry lips with a quick, sharp tongue, the waitress jerked her shoulders, she didn't like the person, some slippery - but she immediately forgot about him.

And the unknown launched an unusual program, and ended up in ... the bowels of the telephone of a high-ranking official. Who came to the hotel to meet with foreign investors. The man did not see the official, but as if he did. The official sits at the presidium table. He's bored. He pulls out his phone and sees the Wi-Fi network. Connects to it. And he doesn't know that this net was thrown to him by a stranger with dry lips sitting in a cafe. And while the official is looking for a restaurant to dine in today, the cafe visitor downloads the contents of his mail. That hangs on the gov domain. That is, on the state, service domain.

Yes, brother, and you connected a secret mail to a regular phone, as you are all predictable, - the man in the cafe smiles.

In ten minutes he knows everything about the official. The wife goes to an expensive doctor in Germany. The mistress whines that they have not met for a long time. The son was caught smoking weed ... Oh, but this is interesting! And the visitor to the cafe freezes at the monitor.

YOURSELF WILL BRING EVERYTHING

It is believed that the frustrated journalist Vladimir Anikeev acted this way. They say that it was he who invented the "Internationale". Anikeev was arrested in the fall. If he actually personally threw a fake mobile network or a fake Wi-Fi to the victims, then he did it only at the start of his career. As soon as its scale grew, he moved to Ukraine. The siloviki with great difficulty managed to lure him to St. Petersburg. Allegedly to receive the next, especially large, fee. There they took him. In complete silence.

They say that this kind of hacker work is not the most typical. But from the moment when it became widely known about Anonymous International, and Roskomnadzor banned the site called Shaltai-Boltai (which little stopped those wishing to visit it), allegedly Anikeev and his friends suffered incriminating evidence ... the officials themselves. At their colleagues.

Officials are like spiders in a bank. Bypassed by the position. Sawed the money without you. And the offended official begins to think about how to punish competitors. They say that only a quarter of the data hackers have is a real hack. The rest is offerings.

PAY BY CUSTOMER AND VICTIM

The liberals immediately made Humpty Dumpty their ideological allies. Although they had no idea who was worth it. In a cafe on Patriarch'shysh, shabby men and brightly painted women with shrill voices of wounded seagulls began to talk about the "struggle of the Kremlin towers", about "Robin Hood", which wound up at the "very top".

Who is our Snowden? - a well-known publicist spat out his lips with his lips, pouring wine into a wine glass badly washed by the waitress.

I would give him! - shouted, as if the truth has already given, a feminist with a short haircut.

The pike vests are sure that the Messiah is coming. But was it really so?

One day a friend calls me and says that my name appears on the Humpty Dumpty website, - my interlocutor tells his story, looking down. - My head swam with fear, I climbed the link and really stumbled upon myself. Hacked my friend's mail. They laid out, as is their custom, some letters, and a general description of what was in the mail. The goal is to grab the buyer's attention.

- That is, everything that was hacked was put up for sale?

- Who is the buyer?

They first offered to buy everything for the victim.

- Buy the content of your own mail?

Buy the right to non-proliferation of information. If the victim refused (my friend refused), the lot was put up for purchase by anyone. For auction. They were sold for cryptocurrency - bitcoins. As it turned out now, the sellers were in the Baltics. In Russia, bitcoins are, as it were, prohibited. But on the Internet, you can convert, for example, bitcoins into rubles. And withdraw them from your bank card. And all these prohibitions are nothing.

The story of my interlocutor is a typical Robin Hood business. As he says, his friend was fired from a serious post in one department. He began to take revenge - to threaten with revelations. The department got worried and decided to shut him up. Set Anonymous International on him. The humor is that if the Internationale really adhered to some kind of ideology, it would see the offended civil servant as its ally. But he calmly took the money and began to poison the one who was ordered.

It was striking that they were working carelessly, - says my interlocutor. - The mail was hacked. But my name was confused in the correspondence. The position was confused. It can be seen that they just googled, because I changed jobs three years ago, and they named the old one. They just took money from the customer and now they wanted to milk the victim as well. My friend didn't buy anything. And nobody bought the correspondence at the auction.

In fact, with the exception of loud lots, this has often happened. True, the press stubbornly writes that one of the state officials paid the Internationale a whopping $ 10 million. I bought the secret. What he was hiding, and whether it is true at all, is still unknown.

CIA AS A BUYER

It is said that a high-ranking FSB officer, Sergei Mikhailov, was assigned to take care of Anikeev. They also say that Mikhailov, instead of exposing the hacker, began to cooperate with him and in fact led the group. There is no confirmation of this. Mikhailov was in good standing, they write that the department he headed after Mikhailov's arrest had to be built from scratch. Again, they write from the words of anonymous sources.

Anonymous and all our commentators. My next meeting is with an employee of a closed research institute who is accused by Western media of hacking the correspondence of American politicians in the US elections. The topic of elections was quickly closed, “we are not doing this,” says the guy with the long mane of red hair.

- What do you know about Humpty?

Slightly more than the rest. Ours did not get dirty there. They say that none of the arrested were injected. The case is frozen. And then they took Rusik (Ruslan Stoyanov, an employee of Kaspersky Lab - ed.), and he passed everyone.

- As I understand it, the Shaltai earned stupidly by blackmail. Why are they molded treason?

There is also a fine line. Foreign special services are hand * opy, and they do not know how to break the mail of our states. And the guys from Humpty are ready to break and sell to those who pay. Foreigners pay. And this, you must admit, is treason. The fact that the Shaltays were in Ukraine and in the Baltic states is not out of love for the ideals of the Maidan, it's just that the Ukrainians pick up all our trash, and ours do not always reach Kiev.

SOLDIERS THAT YOU SPY

The fate of Humpty Dumpty is a story as ancient as the world about blackmailers and their victims, only wrapped in a modern wrapper. But this story also teaches that in our time not to understand how the Internet works is as foolish as not to know that microbes are transmitted through the air. They talked about one minister, a smart man, that, as soon as he got to the post, he began to climb social networks from his work computer. And he was furious when the ministry's security officers knocked on the door. Like, not allowed.

Soldiers! - eyewitnesses report the official's hysteria. - What are you spying! It's up to me to decide what is supposed to and what is not!

But it was this holy carelessness that led Humpty to learn so much.

Finally, this is a signal to our officials as well. Think three times when you are going to steal. Your most disguised steps are like a wide open book to specialists.

SENSATIONS FROM THE INTERNET ROBIN GOODS

(the loudest hacks of Humpty Dumpty)

- Hacking Medvedev's Twitter

On August 14, 2014, hackers controlled the prime minister's account for almost an hour. During this time they managed to make a number of "political statements" on his behalf. Experts say the hackers did this to advertise their capabilities.

- Photo Potupchik with money

In the winter of 2014, hackers posted a photo of a person who looked like a public figure Kristina Potupchik on the Internet. The woman was sitting with a bag full of "cutlets" with 5,000 bills. It was argued that she received budget money "in the dark" for some purpose, and the photo was taken by those who gave the money for reporting.

- Hacking Gabrelyanov's mail

This was conceived as an action of colossal force, but the public only learned that the famous media mogul was swearing and was in correspondence with the mighty of this world - and that was understandable.

- Surkov's post office

The hacking of Vladislav Surkov's mail in the fall of 2016 remained an unconfirmed action, the victims deny that the documents are genuine. However, the media write that the attack on Surkov was the last straw, after which the authorities decided to "blame" Humpty.

HOW THE HATTER BURNED

The journalist Vladimir Anikeev is called the leader and ideologist of Anonymous International. He was born in Makhachkala, began working in St. Petersburg, and since 2000 he has been looking for and selling compromising evidence on officials. When the activity became too dangerous, he moved to Ukraine, his accomplices were in the Baltic States and Thailand. And he came to Russia for money, and stayed in St. Petersburg's Angleterre, the very hotel where Yesenin committed suicide.

The media write that he is now willing to testify.

Yesterday the Lefortovo court in Moscow arrested two more employees of Shaltay-Boltai - Konstantin Teplyakov and Alexander Filinov.

But how Anikeev himself was bred is a separate detective. He pierced the ... hat. Anikeev was terribly secret. In 2015, he gave an interview to the Meduza portal, forbidding himself to photograph. But the journalist insisted: who would believe that there was an interview at all? Then Anikeev offered to photograph his separately lying hat. The hacker's stupidity is that he posted his photos in the same hat on VKontakte. Could two Russians in Bangkok have the same hat, thought the security officials, who combed the pages of Russians who lived in Thailand. So they figured it out. The irony is that the Hatter's character is from the story "Alice in Wonderland", from where the hackers took their pseudonyms (Anikeev himself was Lewis Carroll, that is, the author of all this "work").
